Reflective blog post

Through researching about self-regulation, I've noticed that many researchers believe that self-regulation really impacts students well-being and over ability to express emotions in a socially acceptable manner.  Both parents and school personals need to work together and come up with guidelines that they consider effective for their students.  Today, I've looked at research that considers the parents perspective on self-regulation and what they consider important for their children's development. I'm focusing my searches on the young children (Kindergarten to grade 2).  I'm going to continue to consider other techniques parents consider important and then look at the educators perspective on how to foster self-regulation in children.
