Final Reflection:
I think teaching with technology really extends our understanding of the materials being taught.
I really enjoyed learning about the different tools and how to use them
in an educational way. Learning through
technology really opens up different avenues of viewing content. I feel we are better able to understand
information when we use the technology tools as a means to gather, organize and
present the information we learned. In
other words, we learn more when we use hand-on learning tools as a means to research
and present our information.
I enjoyed working through the TPACK Quest, as I was able to
work at my own pace and learn through hands on materials. I liked that there were guiding question in
each stage of the TPACK Quest, which helped me stay focused and explore the
interesting materials and tools. I got
to learn and work through many tools that I had never heard about until coming
to this Digital Learning class. I like how we had options to decide from when
exploring the different programs at each stage of the TPACK Quest.
I really enjoyed learning about the different tools that I will be able to use when I start teaching in a classroom!
This course was really interesting and a lot of fun!
