October 5 Blog Post
Today I learned how to use IMovie to create a trailer for my Genius Hour Blog. It was interesting to use the images and information i researched to create and Imovie. I'm still working on completing the trailer and excited to post it to my blog.
Looking at the research i've done so far, i've realized that there are many similarities between what parents and school personals consider to be important in fostering self-regulation in children. There needs to be open communication between parents and school personals regarding students behaviour, emotions and development. There needs to be clear and consistent expectations for the students.
Today I've learned about many different tools like Audioboo, Paper.li, Emaze that can all be very useful ways of working with and teaching students.
From here, I'm going to complete my Imovie and my TED Talk on the importance of self-regulation during the early years.
