Here is my TED talk on my Genius Hour question which is: how can parents and school personals can foster the development of self-regulation in young children?
I really enjoyed Saloni's Ted Talk on Self Regulation. It was well put together, she was able to explain Self Regulation at the beginning. That gave the viewers a solid background as to what her topic was about. She was clear on her words and explained everything throughly and in detail. Saloni was able to give a vast amount of information on what she had found while researching. She demonstrates why it is important for school community to work closely with parents for children's needs. which was great. A constructive feedback I would make is, providing examples as to why you were passionate about this topic; perhaps you came across a student in your life that you had to assist. Overall, this was a very inspirational Ted Talk. I found this topic to be very interesting. People may not see the crucial need of parent's and teachers working together, whether students are doing well or not so well in school. It is inspiring to see Teacher candidates be passionate about such an important topic. I believe you covered all areas, FANTASTIC JOB SALONI!
